
I promised to post cultural items, so here’s a picture of our bathroom. That’s not a tall bathtub, it’s a bak. You stand beside the bak and use the little bucket to dump water on yourself. Then you wash and rinse. The floor is slightly slanted toward a drain in the corner. Next to the bak is the toilet, also known as a squatty potty... if you're thinking about visiting me, don't worry- there are more western bathrooms in the volunteer house.

Wow! Forgotten about that possibility. Been there and done that when we were in China adopting Lily. Can you imagine how long it took for me and my three girls to go? What a mess. Hopefully you have figured that thing out. Praying you can find a real potty somewhere.
